This collection marks a significant moment in my journey as an artist, a long-held dream of devoting myself more fully to my creative practice finally coming to life.

Art has always been part of who I am. I grew up surrounded by creativity, with a strong artistic lineage woven through my family. My childhood was spent alongside my mother as she painted in her studio, a space that became both a sanctuary and a place of imagination. Today, creating in my own studio feels like a full-circle return to that same sense of freedom, curiosity, and connection.

My work is an exploration of the human experience, the layers of life that shape us: loss, resilience, transformation, joy, appreciation, and the search for clarity and balance. Each piece begins with a feeling rather than a fixed idea. I allow the artwork to guide me, responding intuitively to colour, texture, composition, and the energy that emerges through the process.

Working primarily with oils and acrylics, I move between mediums depending on what each piece requires. The painting reveals its own direction through layers of mark-making, movement, and discovery.

I have always been drawn to the raw, organic, and imperfect beauty found in nature. This influence is reflected throughout my work, through spontaneous brushstrokes, considered negative space, organic forms, and compositions that allow room for emotion and interpretation.

While each artwork begins with my own experiences and inner world, my hope is that every viewer finds something personal within it, a feeling, memory, or story that connects with their own journey. This release represents more than sharing a collection of paintings. It represents sharing a part of my journey, and inviting others into the world I have been building for a lifetime.
